SLIQ Electronics is dedicated at providing high quality, creative electronic solutions at affordable prices. Marc Robertson founded SLIQ Electronics to serve the electronic needs and desires of Model Railroaders.

Marc is a past president of Integrated Microsystems Enterprise (IME) at Michigan Technological University (MTU) in Houghton Michigan. This enterprise provides research and development as well as engineering services. IME engineers produce high tech electronic solutions for industry partners, MTU research projects, as well as projects internal to IME. In addition to his IME presidential responsibilities at MTU, Marc concentrates on advancing his studies in the digital control systems aspects of electrical engineering.

In addition to his activities at MTU and SLIQ Electronics, Marc is currently a primary engineer working at GRT Avionics located in Grand Rapids Michigan. His focus there is on developing high-tech future products for the avionics industry.

Marc is dubbed the "Electronics Guru" for Dr. Bruce Chubb's Sunset Valley Oregon System (SVOS). He obtained that title during his 6 year history working closely with Bruce on his C/MRI system used on the SVOS. This is including installation, upgrading, and maintaining the complete C/MRI system as used on the SVOS as well as electronic design of new products for JLC Enterprises. The SVOS is an extensive, high quality, computer enhanced model railroad featuring 10 Pacific Northwest railroads set in 1955 which spans a 2,600 square foot basement.
